Before we can give you a price we need to know how many items you need, what colour the product will be and if possible, email us the logo that you want on your gear so we can price this accurately. Let us know if you need the goods urgently.

We have thousands of products available and tailor each product selection to suit your specific enquiry. We tend to use our website as an online brochure to give you an idea of the types of goods available. Tell us what you are looking for, even if it’s just a general theme. eg “promotional products to suit beach party”. We then go to our master catalogues and hunt out the best options to suit your needs and budget. We can email photos of items not on our website.
If your after unbranded products, you can often have them within a day or two. For branded items it varies depending on the product, the method of branding and the number of colours to be printed. Always let us know your deadline as we have a range of products which we can turn around very quickly if required (although some rush job may cost a bit more). Most products take between 7-14 working days which will leave plenty of time for proofing, printing and delivery.
Did you know that by placing your company name on anything from a t-shirt to a cap, a jacket to a golf ball, that you are keeping your name in front of your customer both during working and after hours? What a great way to give a gift while creating a walking billboard that will stay around far longer than a printed advert that ends up in the recycle bin.
Think about what the shirt will be used for. Poly/Cotton is harder wearing and does not shrink when washed in hot water or put in the tumble drier. It is also easier to iron.
Cotton is very comfortable to wear, however if you mainly work outdoors and have chosen a dark colour, it will fade quicker than poly/cotton. Cotton needs to be ironed frequently where poly/cotton is lower maintenance.
Most of our clothing on our website states the gsm (grams per square meter). To give you an idea, 180gsm is a standard weight for a t-shirt and 150gsm would be a light weight t-shirt, often used for give-aways. 210gsm is a typical weight for a polo shirt with 290gsm being our heaviest polo shirt option, which can be quite hot in summer. Polar fleece starts at around 280gsm, which is good if you just want a little extra warmth and don’t plan on standing outside in the freezing cold for long. 360gsm is our most popular warm weight and 450gsm is the top of the line heavy weight fleece.
In combed ring spun the cotton goes through additional preparation. Basically the cotton is combed to make sure all the strands are heading in the same direction as illustrated below. Then the yarn is then twisted for strength. This gives it that softer feel, whereas Carded open end is more natural, and obviously cheaper to make.
Both are 100% Cotton (apart from the marles), its just down to different manufacturing processes. One is not necessarily better than the other. Some people prefer the softness of Combed Ring Spun while others like the hardiness and perceived longer life of Carded Cotton.
As we sell garments from a wide range of manufacturers, it’s probably safest if you are concerned, to sample a size range of the products you’re ordering before branding or at the very least, request a size chart for the specific garments as they do vary between styles. Once you have the sizing, you will need to compare the measurements with your own clothing that you’re familiar with.
We have completed work for a number of large organizations like Harveys Real Estate, Pepsi, Air New Zealand and Lumley Insurance as well as working with small businesses and sole traders. We have no minimums for clothing, so you can pick and choose the items that you like and then we can brand them all to create a uniform. Once you have the embroidery program set up, it is quite viable to run a couple of items if you need any extras for a new staff member who has joined the team.
We tend to advise embroidery over printing for uniforms, as it looks smarter on clothing and will last longer if washed and ironed frequently. There is a one off program set up charge for your logo, which can then be altered to fit different sized garments. e.g. shirts to caps to bags.
Embroidery pricing works on the number of stitches and units run at one time rather than how many colours involved. Bear in mind that quantity breaks are 1-20, 21-100 and 100+. We can take your logo off something as small as a business card.
Printing is suitable if you require detail in the logo, a large size logo or high volume. Print prices work on the number of colours and size of print area as well as units run at one time. Each colour needs separate film and plates. Please provide the artwork in EPS or AI format if possible. Transfers are heat applied and can be a handy option if you plan to brand other items at a later stage and need to keep the costs down. We can make up a number of transfers so that you pay the best price based on volume and then use them as required. These can be screen printed, digitally printed or vinyl cuts depending on your logo.
Screenprinting is a great process for Tee shirts and the like, but what about nylon stuff that screen printers either say no to or struggle to print in register? Our digital heat transfer machine is specifically for this process. A digital transfer machine prints your logo onto a vinyl or pvc that can be then applied on to your garment using heat.
We also manufacture screen printed transfers which give a very high quality finish and a very nice thin print. With this process you print the image on to paper using a screen, and then you heat apply it to the garment. All the colours go on at once, so you have none of the registration issues you normally have when direct printing difficult garments and bags.
Please note that all garments that are pressed have press marks, the colour & type of the garment determines the extent of this mark. The press mark becomes less visible from washing and general wear.
Vector Graphics – A vector graphic is the ideal format to supply artwork for printing, Artwork in this format is saved as mathematical equations and can easily be edited and resized without compromising the image quality. Vector artwork can be supplied in the following file types:
• Encapsulated Post Script (EPS)
• CorelDraw (CDR)
• Adobe Illustrator (AI)
• Portable Document Format (PDF)
Raster Graphics – A raster graphic is made up of grids of pixels and can’t be as easily edited or resized and in order to use raster graphics for printing they must first be converted or redrawn as vector graphics. If raster graphics are supplied we will attempt to make this artwork useable otherwise the flat fee of $25.00 Artwork Wizard service will be used to convert or redraw artwork. Raster artwork can be supplied in the following file types:
Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines and curves which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics. To test if your artwork is vector, simply open it and zoom in. In true vector art, it doesn’t matter if you zoom to 100% or 10000%, the image will stay perfectly clear. Just because a file has an .eps extension, doesn’t automatically make it a vector based file. You will notice that with jpgs and bitmap images that the edges of the image get fuzzy as you zoom in. Bitmap images are composed of a mosaic of colours.

Proofs will be sent before branding commences. These must be checked very carefully and if correct, signed and returned. We will not take responsibility for errors or omissions once a proof is signed so please check proofs carefully. Please take special care to check spelling, phone numbers and website / email addresses. We will match PMS colours as accurately as our inks will allow, but we can not guarantee close matches on anything other than white surfaces. While we will always try to supply the exact quantity of goods ordered, but in some cases branded items may be over or under supplied by up to 5% depending on the product and the method of branding required.
